Hopefully....our new home!
We just took the plunge and put an offer on this River Front Home. It is a dream home and with the market down, a steal of a price. Still, after renting for 5 years while working on my PhD, it is a scary thing to go back into home ownership. The offer is in, we are just waiting to hear! Here are a few pics!
Obviously the furniture and decorations are not ours and will be changed if we get it. Just dreaming about what we will do with it! The view is amazing! 3 bedrooms (only 2 shown) plus the "man cave" with 2 sliding glass door walkouts, perfect for Michigan Football games!

ReplyDeleteBTW, after we accepted the counter, they countered back! So we said, if we all have to give up something so do you! We are coming from a 2 bedroom apartment, leave us some furniture. THEY DID! LOTS!! Really getting excited....and scared.
ReplyDeleteOk, so....who even knows at this point about this deal. Communication with the realator is practically non existent. The mortgage is at the underwriters and there is some type of issue, but I am not being kept well informed and NOW, it is the weekend. I went crazy nuts shooting off emails last night and everyone probably thinks that I am insane. I do NOT want to spend the weekend wondering.....but it looks like I have to since no one responded to my pleas for SOMETHING, some information that would make me rest a bit easier. I have so much writing to do, I have to put this out of my mind and write. I JUST WANT TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!
